The curriculam
At ACE we focus on imparting skill based knowledge using variety of learning techniques. We recognize that students at this level are curious, imaginative, experimental, and active and, above all, very frank. We believe that every child has his or her own unique abilities, interests, aspirations and expectations. Therefore, our curriculum is designed and structured to encourage students to become self reliant individuals and global citizens as envisaged by the national curriculum framework 2005.
ACE MONTESSORI HOUSE OF CHILDREN
With the objective of bringing an overall development of a child, the school has set up a Montessori system at the foundation level introducing the KG Kids to specially designed apparatus and techniques with which they work and learn in a planned setting. The tasks are based on the materials to test their understanding and learn through trial and error method at every step. The teacher facilitates the activity for the kids to interact and learn.
At Ace, the Montessori children are given chances to take part in arts and sports events. They represent our school in various interschool events as well. All academic activities are planned to nourish their social, emotional and intellectual skills.
PRIMARY STAGE
At ACE in Primary we emphasis on multiple skill development. The focus is on the child as learner, and we use of a variety of teaching methodologies to develop their skills. Children learn and develop through number of formal and informal methods like activities, projects, presentations and hands-on experiences, group discussions, role plays and so on, andwe focus on encouraging inquiry, exploration and on inculcating confidence in key learning skills. Various Inter house competitions are arranged to develop the spirit of healthy competition among the students. Children are encouraged to speak and perform at assemblies, school programs and thus gain confidence in their ability to communicate to a wider audience. The curriculum emphasizes the need for greater attention to be paid to students with special educational needs and we in ACE believe that no child should be left behind.
We follow Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation assessment pattern in the school. The main aim of CCE is to evaluate every aspect of the child during their presence at the school. As a part of this system, student’s marks will be replaced by grades which will be evaluated through a series of curricular and extra-curricular activities.
Therefore, our curriculum in classes is structured to encourage and motivate our students to become self-confident, self-reliant and self-disciplined, and thus help become global citizen.
MIDDLE STAGE
We believe that Middle school is the best time to lay groundwork and study skills that will help students excel not only in secondary and Higher secondary but also in the professional world as well. In ACE middle school, Students are helped to keep pace with the academic challenges and get support in acquiring life skills. Our class-room atmosphere is learner-centered where the students take charge of their learning under the constant guidance of teachers.
In Middle school classes we basically focus on developing learning through collaboration. Students are provided with various opportunities to uplift their self confidence through experimental, co-operative and participative learning. We follow CBSE Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation, which promotes holistic development of students thus preparing them for the next phase of their experiences of adult life.
In Ace Middle school we deliver curriculum as a whole by actively encouraging students to participate in a wide variety of experiences to further enhance their soft skills though community and charity work, public speaking with an aim to produce

SENIOR SECONDARY
At this level, the school targets the adolescents to be responsible citizens with traits of developed competencies. The curriculum supports this goal of nurturing higher level of life skills. The learners become adept at finding their own innate potential through self-awareness, become clear goal setters displaying higher order thinking skills, and show heightened sense of empathy.
The students are trained to make choices about their career, are able to communicate effectively through technology and develop a global perspective. The school has both science and commerce streams at the senior secondary level with laboratories and digital classrooms.
The methodology and the pedagogy have been devised to appreciate individual differences with an aim to motivate them to be lifelong learners. Thus, the students become better problem solvers exhibiting tenets of critical and creative thinking faculty.
In brief, the senior secondary curriculum seeks to facilitate learners’ spiritual, ethical, social, cognitive, mental and physical growth and development. It enhances their innate potential to choose their career goals besides empowering them to meet the demands of the changing society. Above all, the learners become civilized citizens upholding constitutional values.
